The Motor-Guard is the safest and cheapest way to fully protect the motor of your Air-Conditioner or Refrigerator from possible over-heating or breaking-off due to anomalous power line conditions.
Air-Conditioners, Refrigerators and generally all electric appliances based on a motor compressor are subject to serious threat in case the line voltage should fall below a safe level, especially at start-up.
An insufficient voltage could prevent the motor from being able to start running, resulting in over-heating and possible permanent damage to the motor. Furthermore, in case of frequent and unpredicted interruptions of the electrical power, the compressor may suffer and over-heat if turned on and off repeatedly.

TO ACTION AND SAVES THE LIFE OF YOUR APPLIANCES.

Should the line voltage drop below the safe level and not be back to the safe area for more than 3 seconds, the Motor-Guard will automatically switch OFF the appliance to save it from damaging. As soon as the line conditions are safe again, the Motor-Guard will monitor the line for 3 minutes before switching the appliance ON, this 3 minutes delay is most important in order to allow the motor to cool down and the gas in the circuit to condense.

POWER INTERRUPTIONS

The Motor-Guard is built into a rugged but pleasant flame-proof little cabinet, extremely easy and quick to connect and put to work. Made to last a lifetime. The front panel carries all the captions and signals giving the current state of the action:

• RED light ON: The line voltage is below the safe level, the load is OFF

• YELLOW light FLASHING: The power line is back to normal and the Motor-Guard is keeping the line under scrutiny for 3 minutes before turning the power to the load. The load is OFF

• GREEN light ON: The power line is suitable. The load is ON
